Columbia University, Intro to Architecture Studio, Madeline Schwartzman. An immobilize project that asked students to explore basswood, structure and conceptual ideas about the hand. Students were given a sectional site and asked to use the DNA of the hand model for an inhabitable wall: a structure that can both block and allow passage.
Columbia University, Civil Engineering Senior Design Final Project, Professor Christian Meyer. The first phase of Columbia University's new Manhattanville Campus is scheduled to be completed in the year 2015. Working in a team, we were tasked to independently design one of the main engineering school buildings subgrade. These drawings were produced in AutoCad.
Architectural Representation, Columbia University, 2012, Nicole Robertson. We first explored a an obsolete object and it's implications, and then using those studies as a bases for an e-waste recycling center in Rockefeller Center. The object explored was the Technic-1200 turntable. We were expected to use the laser cutter as part of our modelling process.
